Channel your Creative Energy into your Job Search

No matter what the situation, being unemployed is not ideal.  That being said, sometimes at our lowest times in our life, is when our greatest strengths shine through.  Take this time to really channel your creative side and see what you can come up with to make your job search journey a true success.

Ask yourself “What can I do today to make my job search unique?”

·       Start a blog about your job search journey and connect with people who are in the same situation and inspire them with your stories and ideas

·       Develop business cards with a marketing statement that summarizes your greatest job related accomplishments/skills/experience and hit the town distributing them

·       Organize a job search club; this can be a great way for you and other friends or family members to stay motivated in your job search!  Meet weekly to share ideas, discuss job opportunities that you have heard of and strategize your job search plan!
