Do You Have a Job Search Plan?

Much like any project in life, a plan is always a recipe for success!  Develop a job search plan for your job search and stick to it!  A few ways to ensure you are broadening your job search and reaching every avenue that could lead to possiblities are:


  • Document your job search activities by saving job postings, resume/cover letters that you created for jobs and information such as the date you applied + method of application.  This will help when you get a call for an interview - you will have something to refer to, and making sure you do your follow-up calls/emails and document those as well.
  • Develop a daily schedule!  Allot times throughout the day for job search; much like you would do with duties at work. 
  • Don't forget about You!  Ensure you schedule time for yourself and your life aside from your  job search - it will keep you motivated and positive!
